Growing up attending Catholic mass in Latin in Germany, Teena later moved to New Orleans where she found herself caught in the local drug culture.
She shares the powerful turning point of her life—reading The Cross and the Switchblade and being unexpectedly invited by a friend to a “Jesus rally.” What she thought would be something else became a life-changing encounter with Jesus, leading her to pray and receive Him into her life.
Today, Teena is the founder of Southern Christian Writers, a community dedicated to supporting authors and keeping the door open for others to experience God’s love.
