Itโs amazing how God can speak to you in the most unexpected ways.
The other day, my husband heard a song by Heavy D, and in it was the line, โmany are called, chosen are few.โ Something about that just stopped him. It didnโt feel like just lyricsโit felt like a message.
When he shared it with me, I went searchingโฆ and there it was in the BibleโMatthew 22:14: โFor many are called, but few are chosen.โ
And in that moment, something powerful happenedโnot just for me, but for him too. Because when he heard those lyrics first, and then saw that same exact message confirmed in scriptureโฆ it validated, deep in his spirit, that this was from God. That this wasnโt coincidenceโthis was intentional. Another miracle heโs been able to witness in my life.
And for me, it hit just as deeply.
Because Iโve been feeling this pull on my heart toward speaking, toward sharing my story, toward stepping into something bigger than myself. And in that moment, it felt like confirmation. But what really took my breath away was thisโฆ
22:14. My birthday is on the 22nd. My husbandโs birthday is on the 14th.
And I just thoughtโฆ God, this is so personal. This is so intentional. Out of all the verses, out of all the numbers, this one ties directly into us. Into our lives, into our journey, into everything weโve been walking through. It reminded me that this calling I feelโitโs not random. Itโs not something I made up. Itโs something placed inside of me for a reason.
And then, as if that wasnโt enoughโฆ I was chosen to be interviewed by Engel Jonesโsomeone who has interviewed so many incredible, well-known people. Out of all the voicesโฆ he chose mine. And I donโt take that lightly.
Because I truly believe this could be the moment that changes everything. The moment that opens the door. The moment that catapults my speaking journey into what itโs meant to be.
